We recently changed our canine vaccine recommendations for the final vaccine to be at 18 to 20 weeks. This is based on research from the University of Wisconsin that suggests that maternal derived antibody interferes with both Distemper and Parvovirus immunization in approximately 15% of dogs at 16 weeks of age. For this reason, the vaccine experts recommend to extend the vaccine series longer to ensure protection.
Our goal is to protect your pet from these deadly infectious diseases.
