Douglas T. Wagner, D.V.M.Veterinarian
Douglas Wagner, DVM graduated from The Ohio State University in 1984 and his first veterinary position was in a mixed animal practice in Dover, Ohio. Venturing out on his own in 1987, Dr. Wagner opened the Granville Veterinary Clinic and soon earned the trust and respect of the Granville and surrounding areas residents, some of whom have moved out of state and still return for their pets’ annual visits.
Dr. Wagner loves outdoor sports and fly fishing. Faith, family and community is the priority in the Wagner home. He and his wife, Becky, have 3 children; two have graduated from college and their youngest attends college at this time. They love to travel as a family whenever possible. Dr. Wagner and Becky share their home with one “working” dog, Emma, and three very “non-working” dogs, Charlotte, Drover and Katie, all long hair dachshunds frequently seen walking around town with Dr. Wagner and Becky. Topping off the family is the rescued tiger-striped kitty, affectionately called “The Cat” who has yet to discover he is not a dog.
Dr. Wagner is active in the Granville Rotary and the Granville Township Open Space program, and a long-time member of the Centenary United Methodist Church of Granville. You will often find Becky next door to the Clinic operating their shared business, The Village Pet Market.
